Please RSVP by filling out the form below and Carolyn Bickers will send a calendar invite.

Date: April 29th
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: TBD

Description:
Teaching critical thinking is an important theme in education today, but often requires major redesigns of existing curricula. We’ve found that simple exercises that encourage student question-asking can have big impacts. In this workshop, we will share our experiences developing these methods, and frameworks for integrating them into any class.

  • Why student questions are so important
  • How to prompt purposeful and deep student questions
  • Framework for assessing student questions
  • How to build these exercises into your curriculum

The workshop format is very interactive. Instructors will be collaborating throughout by asking and evaluating their questions in specific exercises. Everyone will receive access to online resources after.

Hosted by: Co-founders of Beagle Learning, Turner Bohlen and Carolyn Bickers
